The historic events of the past year presented the DMK Group with new challenges, while at the same time the major issues of the future, such as the climate crisis, continued to keep us on our toes. But with a clear plan and strong cohesion, 2022 nevertheless became DMK's most successful year to date.

The "we" is DMK's most important ingredient. Our team spirit and courage to innovate have helped us overcome numerous hurdles in 2022 - from the drastic price increases in raw materials and energy, bottlenecks in the global supply chain and a shortage of skilled workers, to the transformation of agriculture and dealing with current nutrition trends.

High inflation put a damper on the economy in 2022. Nevertheless, megatrends in nutrition continued. That's why we kept a close eye on the market - and created the right offer for the wishes of consumers and the food industry with strong brands and brand new products.

The DMK Group has been committed to greater sustainability on the farms, in the factories and throughout the company for years. In 2022, the corresponding targets were reviewed, validated and reaffirmed by the Science-Based Target Initiative. In addition, a unique pilot project, Net Zero Farms, was launched to provide important insights for the reduction of greenhouse gases.
