Hi, my name is Nike Müller and I am 22 years old. I support the Organizational Development Team and am particularly involved in the BUZZER project, our employee survey, with the aim of creating emotional employee loyalty.
I have been working at DMK since 1 April.
Before joining DMK, I completed a bachelor's degree in social sciences in Oldenburg. Because of the wide range of possible fields of activity, I looked into various professions, such as criminological research and human resources. In the end, the human resources field convinced me.
At the same time, I worked as a waitress at events for more than 2 years. I mainly worked at company parties, which is why the DMK looked familiar to me when I was looking for a suitable working student job.
Since I started my master's degree in business psychology on 01.05.2023, I wanted to gain practical experience in this field of activity in addition to the theoretical knowledge from my studies. The position as a working student in the area of organisational development at DMK was perfect for this.
First of all, it was important for me to have a pleasant working environment. This has been confirmed: I was warmly welcomed and integrated into my team from day one. My colleagues took time to get to know me and had an open ear for questions.
The open and cordial cooperation, the opportunity for further development and flexibility (e.g. home office)
To be able to support my colleagues with my work, to gain new experiences, to learn and, above all, to feel good at work.
There are many nice events coming up in the near future that I am very much looking forward to. These include jointly planned team evenings and the DMK CUP.
My current position is that I would like to continue working in the field of business psychology after my studies. I am looking forward to gaining experience in the field of organisational development during the two years at DMK, but also to see how things are going in other areas. In the end, my work as a student trainee has hopefully given me new knowledge and shown me where my strengths and weaknesses lie so that I can fully immerse myself in the professional world - perhaps even at the DMK
