“I fully support DMK”
Henning Pülsch is involved in the Young Milk Producers' Working Group. For the 30-year-old, networking within the farming community and the cooperative is important.

“I am the fourth generation in our family business. I've known the process since I was a child and have always been interested in exchanging ideas with other dairy farmers. How does it work for you? That's the only way you can learn a lot. In the days of Nordmilch, we had the Young Milk Producers' Advisory Board, now called the Young Milk Producers' Working Group, in which we have board and advisory functions. This also includes discussions with the dairy - that's important because we young farmers learn a lot about the business and it prepares us for taking over the farm.

I fully support DMK. I think it's good that the company has such a broad base. There are other dairies that only specialise in a few products, but I am critical of that, especially in such a volatile market with fluctuating prices. I am convinced that in the long term it promises better cooperation. I am a realist: I will never get the highest milk price, but neither will I get the lowest. For me, DMK has the best value chain.

I also like the fact that DMK started digitisation relatively early with the Milkmaster programme, before other dairies. And DMK's value-added programmes make it easier for me to adapt to the demands for greater animal welfare and sustainability.

I am also reassured that the milk price we receive is rising again after a very bad year for us farmers.”
