Heinz Korte, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the DMK Group, emphasises ‘I am pleased that our Group Management is now complete again and that, in addition to Carsten Bönig as CFO, we will also have Ines Krummacker as a permanent member. During her interim role as CFO, she has demonstrated with commitment, expertise and a sense of responsibility that she is the perfect addition to our management team. I am convinced that we will achieve a great deal in this line-up and continue to drive forward DMK in the interests of our owners. With a clear structure and a broader distribution of tasks, we are well positioned to successfully address the numerous issues that we, as a future-oriented milk processor and food manufacturer, have to deal with.’
Responsibilities within the extended Group Board will be redistributed accordingly: As board spokesperson, Ingo Müller will continue to be responsible for Corporate Strategy, Sustainability, Innovation, Research & Technology, Corporate Communications, Corporate Quality Management, Agri Business & Member Affairs and the DMK Group business units. As Chief People & Service Officer, Ines Krummacker will take over responsibility for Corporate Governance, Supply Chain Management, Global Business Services and Continuous Improvement in addition to her current responsibilities for HR. As Chief Financial Officer, Carsten Bönig will be responsible for Group Controlling & Consolidation, Corporate Treasury & Financial Management, Business Intelligence & Data Analytics, Legal and Global Corporate IT.
'I am also very happy about the reinforcements and my two colleagues on the Group Board! The new set-up will give us all more room for our own areas of responsibility. And that's what's needed in an increasingly demanding and complex world and in a leading company like DMK. So, we won't be getting bored, for we have a multitude of topics and tasks ahead of us – and in the new constellation we will face them with added clout,' says Ingo Müller.
Ines Krummacker adds: ’I appreciate the trust placed in me and see this responsibility as a great opportunity. Together we can advance the DMK Group even further, make it more efficient and find innovative solutions. For me, it's not just about structures, but about people. That's what makes DMK special – we tackle things together. I look forward to working together in the Group Board and the departments that are joining me on this journey.'
‘I can only agree with that. I am delighted to be part of a team that puts so much energy and passion into its work, and I am glad to finally be getting started. As CFO, I am obviously focused on the numbers. But it's just as much about people, trust and responsibility. And it's about the things we can achieve together when we work as a team. For me, that is the driving force and my daily motivation!' says Carsten Bönig.
