DMK Group to appoint CFO position
Bremen, 9 August 2024. Carsten Bönig will take over the finance department of Germany's largest dairy cooperative on 1 January 2025. The manager comes from the producer cooperative Landgard.

Carsten Bönig succeeds Dr Frank Claassen, who left the company at the beginning of the year, as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the DMK Group. Bönig is recognised as a proven financial expert and currently holds the position of CFO on the Management Board of Landgard eG.

‘We are delighted to have found an extremely experienced manager for the position of CFO in Carsten Bönig. With his expertise, he will enrich the DMK Group on its further path towards 2030 and provide the company with important impetus,’ says Heinz Korte, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the DMK Group.

Ines Krummacker (CHRO) will continue to take interim responsibility for the CFO's tasks until Bönig joins the DMK Group. With the leave of Dr Claassen, she took over the finance department in addition to her role as Head of Human Resources and with her commitment is supporting a seamless transition in the Group management.

'I am getting more and more excited about my new role as CFO at the DMK Group and the tasks that await me in this exciting industry. I am convinced that my many years of expertise and experience, particularly in the cooperative sector, will enable me to contribute positively to the future development of the DMK Group. To successfully continue on DMK's chosen path and achieve the goals set, the team always plays a key role. I am therefore looking forward to getting to know the people in the company. For success can only be achieved together and that is our clear goal," emphasises Carsten Bönig.
