Entrepreneurial, fair and innovative – these are the DMK Group’s core values. They also apply in compliance with rules and regulations. We always act responsibly, strategically and sustainably and thereby secure the future of our company.
What compliance means to us.
As an international dairy company, the DMK Group is committed to complying with a wealth of laws and regulations. Any infringement of these legal requirements can have serious consequences. Compliance measures are intended to help make it easier to adhere to rules, thus making it possible to avert damage and actively prevent infringements.
We follow a clear code.
To help our employees in protecting their own and the DMK Group’s interests, we have developed our own Code of Conduct. This is supplemented by internal guidelines to make it easier to comply with laws and regulations.
Confidential handling and protection for whistle-blowers.
If we aim to remain faithful to our values and rules, we cannot simply tolerate wrongdoing. Employees therefore have access to an Ombudsman to whom they can report infringements, anonymously or otherwise. The Ombudsman is bound to secrecy. The process for anonymous information is governed by a code of procedure. Business partners can also approach the Ombudsman in confidence, to draw attention to human rights or environmental risks or infringements in their own business area and in the supply chain among other issues. The DMK Group undertakes to protect an honest informant from any kind of influence.
The law on the protection of whistleblowers also provides for the possibility of informing an external source. For this purpose, the Federal Republic has established a Federal external reporting office with the Federal Office of Justice. Information on the statutory area of application, possible reporting channels and the reporting procedure can be obtained directly from the Federal external reporting office.
