DMK Group with personnel changes in the Ice Cream Business Unit
Bremen, 27 May 2024. Marcus-Dominic Hauck, COO of the Ice Cream Business Unit, is stepping down from his role. He would like to take on new tasks outside the company in the future. A successor has already been named in Andreas Unruhe.

'Marcus-Dominic Hauck took over the role of COO for our Ice Cream Business Unit in 2017 and completely reorganised the DMK ice cream business during this time. After the tough years of restructuring with measures such as the consolidation of several ice cream locations in Everswinkel, the expansion of the licence business and the conclusion of new sales partnerships, we took a very close look at the situation and came to the decision that with Marcus-Dominic Hauck's leaving, we need and want a new impetus in management for the further development of this challenging business area. We would like to thank him very much for his work and commitment to the DMK Group and wish him all the best,' said DMK CEO Ingo Müller.

Based on the important groundwork that has been done, the DMK Group will continue on its course to make the ice cream business fit for the future. The successor to the position of COO has already been appointed. Marcus-Dominic Hauck will be succeeded by Andreas Unruhe from 1 June 2024. The manager, who has held positions at Dr Oetker and the Plukon Food Group, has many years of international experience in the food industry. 'I am pleased to have gained Andreas Unruhe as a manager who will continue on our strategic path and give the business unit new impetus. I wish him every success in his new role and look forward to working with him,' says Müller.
