Lars Mühlberg - Altentreptow

Everything is still alright with the world, as far as the 5,000 residents of the small town of Altentreptow are concerned. The Mecklenburg lake district is very close and you can reach the holiday island of Usedom in around an hour. Simply a wonderful quality of life. But naturally here too, the corona virus has long since made itself felt in people’s everyday lives.

Lars Mühlberg works with 75 colleagues at the Altentreptow location at wheyco GmbH. He and the team are involved in the manufacture of special high-quality whey products for the food industry and baby nutrition. Naturally, everyone knows each other here and people like to use the breaks to chat with each other. This is now different, says Lars Mühlberg. The 38-year-old explains: “We had to keep contact to colleagues and drivers to an absolute minimum. Naturally, we also do not shake hands any more. That’s a pity but it’s necessary.” Thanks to the careful behaviour of the employees, work in the filtration and evaporator operations room is continuing in a productive and orderly way. Lars Mühlberg says: “We all want the company to continue to run smoothly! It’s important for everyone to stick to the new rules. Together we’ll manage it!”
